These beautiful cotton scarves are made from the traditional Indonesian material known as Ikat. The fascinating technique used to make ikat material involves using a resist-dyeing approach on individual strands of the fabric, prior to them being woven together. This method gives the finished products the characteristic blurred effect ikat is known for. The technique is so intertwined with traditional life that Indonesia has even nominated ikat to be added to the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. With their long length and tasseled ends, these wonderful scarves are perfect for wrapping yourself up in warm colour.

      Mixed colours.
