The point at which our painted djembe range gets seriously musical. This 40cm drum features a 7" goat skin head, robust rope tuning and a tone versatile enough to span warm, resonant bass through to crisp, cutting slaps. A genuine entry into the world of djembe playing.
Lightweight enough to carry to sessions and classes, it's a practical choice for beginners taking their first lessons as well as anyone wanting an affordable, good-sounding hand drum for regular use. Each drum is individually hand-painted in Indonesia, so designs vary slightly.
Handcrafted on a Fair Trade basis, supporting fair wages for the artisans who make them.
