This is a beautiful wooden hand-carved Robin. This little bird ornament is hand painted with immaculate detail, making it look super realistic sitting on top of an organic piece of wood, keeping the whole feel of the piece very natural.
Wood carving is Bali’s biggest export in terms of hand-made handicraft. Unfortunately the future of the craft is under threat as lots of young people are choosing to go into the tourism industry instead of taking on this traditional skill as a career. So, by purchasing any Balinese woodcarving you are contributing to keeping this important craft alive!
