About This Product

This super compact, fold-over wallet is made with reclaimed traditional Guatemalan huipil fabric, with black trim and a metal clip for attaching to keys, a bag or a belt loop.p>

Huipils are traditional blouses or tunics worn by Indigenous Maya women in Guatemala. This wallet is made using the good parts of otherwise old, worn huipils, so the patterned fabric is given a second life and doesn't go to waste.

Handmade in Guatemala, this piece has been sourced through Fair Trade principles. By purchasing it, you support small-scale artisans and communities continuing to honour their roots through traditional methods and designs, keeping their crafts and values alive.
