About this product

These striking Spider Web Brass Earrings from Omondi Jewellery add a touch of gothic elegance to your accessory collection. Handcrafted in Kenya, each pair features an intricate spider web design, capturing the delicate artistry of traditional African metalwork. While they complement various styles year-round, their intricate design makes them especially fitting for Halloween celebrations, adding a subtle nod to the season's spooky charm.

Inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Kenya, these earrings showcase the skill and craftsmanship of local artisans. The spider web motif, often associated with mystery and the supernatural, adds a layer of depth and intrigue to the design. The use of brass not only ensures durability but also gives the earrings a warm, golden hue that enhances their visual appeal.

Handmade with care, these earrings support skilled artisans and uphold Fair Trade principles. Each pair reflects the dedication and craftsmanship of its maker. By choosing these earrings, you're not only adorning yourself with a beautiful accessory but also supporting ethical artistry and small businesses.

Meet the maker

Omondi Jewellery is a small workshop based in Kibera, Nairobi – one of Africa's largest informal settlements - and is owned and run by Ishmael Omondi. He lived on the streets before being trained in the art of bone jewellery making through a project run by Zuri Design. Using recycled brass and bone, he creates a beautiful and distinctive range of jewellery, with his long term goal being to expand his team and provide fair employment opportunities to others from Kibera.
