About this product

Rudraksha beads are the dried stones of the fruit of the Elaeocarpus Ganitrus tree. This particular style of necklace uses the smaller stones for making mini beads.
These mallah are associated with the Hindu deity Shiva, and therefore are traditionally worn by people such as Hindu ascetics or sadhus who believe them to protect against negative energies.

Mallahs usually consist of 108 beads which is a very auspicious numbe in Buddhism and Hinduism.
