About this product
The eagle is a powerful symbol that is often seen in Mesoamerican artwork and iconography. Eagle warriors were a special class of soldier in the Aztec military and were the most feared. They were made up of the bravest soldiers or those that had taken the most prisoners. These colourful Mexican masks are handmade in the traditional 'barro' style and are fired in a small kiln before being carefully hand painted.
