About this product
The jaguar is a powerful symbol that is often seen in Mesoamerican artwork and iconography. Jaguar warriors were a high class Aztec military unit made up of men who had proven themselves on the battlefield with a focus on being adept at capturing enemy soldiers. These colourful Mexican masks are handmade in the traditional 'barro' style and are fired in a small kiln before being carefully hand painted.
