This vibrant Buddha Thangka painting is an extraordinary work of art. The mandala traditionally represents a place of purity and in this particular piece of art it is enclosed within circles of lotus, vajra and flames. Known as Thangkas or Thankas, these stunning works of Buddhist art are each carefully hand painted with natural dyes and colourings. They have been painstakingly constructed by extremely skilled artists in Nepal. Each of these large pieces is unique and has a deeply intricate and elaborate composition.
