About this product

In Bali flying angels are known as "Dewi" which translates as "Goddess", and they can be represented as animals or strange hybrids. This Dewi Sri Lady mobile has been painted in rich colours and finished with gold detailing. It has a strong twine with hook for easy hanging. These mobiles are a wonderfully traditional piece of Balinese culture and have spiritual significance to the people of the island. These Flying Winged Spirit Guardians (also sometimes called "Cradle Guardians") are typically used in temples or homes and hung in high spots to ward off evil spirits, and are sometimes aimed looking down towards a door or window. The wings are removable for easy shipping.
