About this product
Mini Pan Pipes

This mini antara is a single-row set of traditional pan pipes, handmade in Peru. Compact and charming, it's an ideal introductory instrument or a special small gift. The seven pipes produce soft, sweet tones characteristic of Andean folk melodies.

These pipes are made from Arundo donax, also known as Giant Reed — a tall, hollow-stemmed grass native to many parts of the world and renowned for its fast growing speed. Though not a true bamboo, Arundo is often used in traditional wind instruments such as flutes and whistles due to its excellent resonance and lightness. Its natural structure makes it ideal for small-scale panpipes, providing bright tone in a portable size.

Each piece is crafted by skilled artisans in Peru, drawing on centuries of Andean musical tradition. The Arundo canes are locally harvested, sun-dried, and hand-cut before being bound together with colourful thread in the regional style.
