Escaleras Bead Necklace

This bead necklace takes its name from the Spanish word for stairs — three chunky hand-painted Cusco clay beads strung on a simple adjustable black cord, each one decorated with a bold stepped geometric pattern in yellow and white on a deep navy base. The cord is fully adjustable so can be worn as a longer necklace or in a shorter, choker syle.

The beads have been hand made and hand painted by artisans in Peru, and then strung together in eth Kent countryside. Produced under Fair Trade principles, each one supports the skilled makers behind the work.
