This viking duck is a hand-painted bamboo root figurine designed in-house for Siesta — kitted out in a horned helmet, black cape, chunky boots, and a round shield, ready for whatever comes next. A characterful addition to any shelf, desk, or display that could do with a bit more Norse energy.
Bali has a rich tradition of bamboo root carving, and the running duck figurine is one of its most recognisable craft exports — each one carved, sanded, and hand-painted by local artisans.
This figurine has been handmade by artisans in Bali. Produced under Fair Trade principles, each one supports the skilled makers behind the work.
