Mini Raksassa Mask

This mini Raksassa mask is a deeply carved and painted wall piece — wild bulging eyes, bared fangs, and an elaborate headdress rendered in rich reds and golds. It can be hung via a cord on the back and although it is compact, the intense character carries real cultural weight.

In Balinese Hindu tradition, the Raksassa is a powerful demon figure — fearsome in appearance but often depicted as a guardian, warding off negative energy. These masks are a central part of Balinese ceremonial and artistic heritage, traditionally carved and painted by hand.
