Giant Ghanaian Djembe (14" Head)

Our largest djembe — a truly commanding instrument hand-carved from Tweneboa wood (African cedar) with a 14" goat skin head that produces an enormous, room-filling sound. Deep, booming bass tones and explosive slaps that make this drum a centrepiece of any drum circle or performance.

The shell features authentic hand-carved decorative patterns and is strung with a thick, unbleached goat skin head and heavy-duty rope tuning. Each drum is made individually by skilled Ghanaian drummers with years of specialist experience.

The wood is purchased through the Forestry Commission of Ghana, ensuring responsible sourcing from fast-growing managed stock.
