About this product

These gorgeous and intricate skeletons are a wonderful handmade ornament from the Mexican town of Texcoco. Made by a small family workshop, the figurine depicts two dancing skeletons in traditional costumes inspired by the Calavera Catrina etchings by Jose Posada. These are now a prominent part of Mexican culture, in particular the imagery of the Day of The Dead.
