Small Ghanaian Djembe (7" Head)

The most compact of our Ghanaian djembes — hand-carved from Tweneboa wood (African cedar) and surprisingly lightweight despite the density of the material, making it a great choice for younger players or travelling musicians.

Don't let the smaller size fool you: it still produces the characteristic djembe tones — warm bass and crisp, cutting slaps — and features authentic hand-carved decorative patterns, an unbleached goat skin head and solid rope tuning.

The wood is purchased through the Forestry Commission of Ghana, ensuring responsible sourcing from fast-growing managed stock. Each drum is individually hand-made by skilled Ghanaian drummers.
