Small Thai Elephant Carving

This hand-carved elephant figurine is made from Rain Tree wood in a small family workshop in northern Thailand. Rain Tree is a dense, attractive hardwood known for its rich grain and warm tones, and is sustainably sourced from trees that have reached the end of their productive life.

Each elephant is shaped and carved by hand, with the fine details that give each piece its character. As with all handmade work, slight variations in grain, tone and finish mean no two elephants are identical.
