White Tara is known for compassion, long life, healing and serenity and is shown here with her right hand in the Varada mudra (blessing pose. ) White Tara is distinct from the more commonly seen Green Tara. She is seated in a tranquil, full lotus position as opposed to Green Tara's one foot extended pose. These intricate resin statues were cast in Nepal.
